Zerg Rush

1: Your starting force should consist of four drones and an overlord.

2: Resist the temptation to build another drone. Instead harvest like MAD. Bring in the minerals quick as you can. Do not build ANYTHING yet. While waiting on the money, send out your overlord to scout for your opponent.

3: Watch the mineral cash closely, wait until you have 150, then construct a spawning pool. Chill while your drone morphs his little heart out. By now the overlord should have found your opponets base.

4: The very second the spawning pool is completed, select three larva and make zerglings. Quickly set the rally point on the hatchery to a place near your opponent's base.

5: In a few moments you will have a mass of six oh-so-cute little zerglings, rearing and ready to go eat something. (or someONE). While they run to the rally point, select a larva and make another overlord and a new batch of zerglings.

6: Move the zerglings quickly into your opponent's base. Most people use their starting 50 to build another harvester - a move they will pay for dearly. That little boost, combined with the zerg's natural speed at building, has gotten you into his base before he has much of anything constructed. By this time, your opponent should have at least one supply unit, barracks, and their main base constructed. They may even be making their first attack unit. Ignore the urge to go after their barracks - hit the harvesters hard. Even if they get out an attacker, ignore him. Kill his money.

7: By now the next wave of zerglings should be on it's way, and before you kindly send them about their pleasant business, you should start another batch cooking, just in case they manage to get a few more soldiers built. The key here is to keep the pressure on. It is imperative you kill them before they get a large group of zealots, hydrolisks, or marines in bunkers.

8: After another wave or so of zerglings, your nemisis's base should be a smoldiering wreck, seconds away from you clicking the "victory" button.

Defense

To defend against these attacks:

Protoss
Use your units ability to create warp portals to the maximum advantage. Do not build another probe, instead save the money. When you hit 100, build a pylon. At 150, build a gateway. From there, you should be able to get one zealot built before they can get to you. He will be enough to handle the zerglings. Attack with your probes if necessary. From there, prepare for a protoss rush and repay the kindness.
Terran
If you save your starting 50, you will have time to construct a barracks, one bunker, and one marine. Make sure to place the bunker VERY near your minerals. When the rush comes, have your scv's quickly begin to repair your bunker. They will outstrip the damage the zerglings can do. By the time you get a bunker full of 4 marines, you have little to fear from this attack.
Zerg
The best offense is the best defense. Rush zergling units for defense, all the while you are building up hydrolisks, which eat the oh so cute little zerglings alive. Follow the trail of zeglings and overlords back to their base, and say "hi" with a few gentle fuzzy hydrolisks. Your opponent will find the tables turned, and his headquarters in ruin. Poor little zerglings.....
