1: Start by ordering all your SCVs to harvest. Do not begin construction on another SCV. Save the 50 mineral at this point.
2: As soon as you get 150 minerals, order one of the SCV's to build a barracks. By the time this is finished, you will have another 150. Build a bunker right next to your minerals. Make a marine in the barracks, and place him in the bunker. This will hold off any oponent's rushes.
3: Build three more SCV's and 15 marines. Construct a refinery, and build an academy. Research stim packs. As the funds become available, make another barracks. Place another three marines in the bunker. Build a supply depot or two.
4: Make 8 firebats and add a comsat station to your command center. Begin scouting with your army. Use the comsat to home in on your opponent. Speed is critical. If the enemy gets too dug in, your units are going to get blown into bloody pieces. Be sure to make another supply depot at this time.
5: Move your units into the enemy base, being careful to keep the firebats in the front to take on the enemy melee fighters. If you see zealots, hydrolisks, or bunkers, shoot up with the stim packs. After destroying their primary defenses, split the group, ordering the marines to hold position close to the enemy barracks, while the firebats toast their harvesters. Any new units that are unfortunate enough to waddle out of the barracks will find themselves glorified target practice. Build replacements as needed, keeping the pressure on. While fighting, take extra money and build an engineering bay. Begin upgrading weapon damage.
6: Though you may loose soldiers at a scary rate, you are getting farther and farther ahead. While you are shooting up his harvesters, your's are adding to your gas and mineral reserves. While you pull farther and farther ahead, your victim....er.....opponent slips into defeat.
To defend against these attacks:
Protoss | You'll need to build a forge right off to survive this kind of attack. Construct 4 photon cannons and a few dragoons. The stimmed marines and firebats will do unkind things to your expensive zealots, so keep them off the front lines. The dragoon range upgrade is a life saver. Once these defenses are in place, you force them to find another attack type. |

Terran | Bunkers, bunkers, bunkers. Build three right off, and fill em with marines. Be sure to get the range upgrade at the academy. When the bad guys come calling, your bunkers will turn their attacks into massacres. Be sure to keep them close to your supplies, or your opponent may just circle them and continue on to your defenseless base. |
Zerg | The key here is to beat them to the punch. Get to your opponents before they get to you. Masses of stimmed marines and firebats kill zerg like penicillin kills germs. Cluster zerglings and hydrolisks and research the burrow upgrade. Bury your zerglings, and let the hydrolisks handle the firebats. After the firebats croak, dig up your zerglings and mob the marines. Keep doing this until you can get a large cluster of sunken colonies built. They are really effective against human units. Try getting on the offensive - humans are good a bleeding you out of money. |
